The Coat Goat specializes in coating concrete. We can coat your garage floor, patio, pool deck, walkways, porch, driveway, interior spaces, warehouses, brick etc. We cannot cover tile, or pavers.

It is required to wait a minimum of 24 hours after your installation to use/walk/drive on your coating.

Yes, to apply the coating, the floor must be cleared. However, shelves, cabinets, or tools hanging on the walls do not need to be moved.

There's no need to remove the water heater. The Coat Goat will treat the concrete all the way up to the edge of the unit, applying the base coat with flakes and finishing with the topcoat, creating a seamless look as if the water heater is sitting directly on the new floor. However, if you decide to move or replace the water heater in the future, the uncovered area will be visible. If that happens, The Coat Goat can come back to fix it!

While grinding concrete does create some dust, The Coat Goat uses high-efficiency vacuums with HEPA filtration to keep it under control.

You don’t need to be home during the installation but we do need you to confirm your color, but we do need full access to the areas being coated — like your garage or backyard. Just leave the garage door open or unlock the side gate, and we’ll take care of the rest!
